Property Description:
Currently under construction, the Serrano will be a 44 unit contemporary designed five story building over ground level parking with a single subterranean parking garage. All of the units will feature formaldehyde free kitchen cabinets, hardwood flooring, Energy Star kitchen appliances, low flow toilets and sinks as well as high efficiency low-E vinyl windows. The Serrano is designed as a central courtyard building which features community gardens and community room opening to the heart of the building. The central courtyard will feature lush landscaping, a BBQ area, a children’s play area and sitting areas for the residents to congregate and enjoy the outdoors. To reinforce the connection of the building to the street, an additional community space and lobby entry is prominently placed at the ground level of the Serrano Avenue façade. A patio is also featured off the ground level community space to further reinforce connection to the street. The façade highlights the large private balconies of the residential units which creates their own rhythm in the building’s façade. The Serrano’s exterior will feature smooth painted stucco, cement board siding and metal accents in the balcony railings and roof eves. The units have been generously designed to meet all size requirements and amenity features and range in size from: one-bedrooms of 713 square feet, two-bedrooms of 900 square feet, and three-bedrooms up to 1,145 square feet. All units feature private balcony space off the living rooms. The 2-bedroom units feature an extra half-bath for function and convenience while the 3-bedroom units feature two full baths. Construction will be completed by year end 2013. A leasing line will be available in Spring 2013 with more information on how to apply to The Serrano. Please check back here for more information.
